Martin Brothers Receives the Large Business Award
from the Wakarusa Chamber of Commerce

Business and community awards were handed out during the Wakarusa Chamber of Commerce's annual Appreciation Banquet Monday night at Nelson's.

Large Business of the Year

The Large Business of the Year was awarded to Martin Brothers. Martin Brothers has been building new homes and remodeling existing homes since 1965.

Virgil and Nelson Martin founded the company. Nelson's son Jeff, purchased the business in 1999 from his father and uncle. Martin Brothers employs 13 craftsmen, an architect and two office assistants. the business builds approximately three new homes each year and remodel six to eight homes.
