Low-Maintenance Doesn't Mean "No Maintenance" |
|
Even though a home may be
low-maintenance doesn't mean it's "no" maintenance. Preventative home
maintenance, as the name implies can help you prevent more costly repairs
down the road.

Schedule
a spring service inspection.
Inspection to include:
-
Inspection of roof and flashing. Check
roof around vents, skylights and chimneys for leaks.
-
Inspection of gutters and downspouts.
-
Inspection of exterior of chimneys for
loose or missing mortar.
-
Inspection of outside of home for visible
defects: e.g., cracked or peeling paint, broken panes of glass, loose
mortar between bricks, cracks in siding or stucco.
-
Inspection of door and window screens for
damage.
-
Inspection of caulk and weather stripping
around doors and windows.
-
Inspection of exterior concrete.
