Riverfront Addition

The addition and renovation of an Italianate home along the St. Joseph River, involved transforming the original home and demolishing an older addition that did not fit in with the original architecture. The demolition of the old addition made way for a new 1,568 sq. ft. space that blends seamlessly with the original home's design.

The main level portion of the addition features a breathtaking custom painted, maple kitchen by Ayr Custom Cabinetry. This space includes numerous amenities such as a walk-in pantry, wine bar, built-in banquette, high-end appliances, and plenty of storage features. The centerpiece of this stunning kitchen is a marble-covered island with seating for six people, featuring custom pendants by Bocci above. The kitchen also opens up into a new formal dining room that has red oak hardwood flooring extending throughout.

Part of the main level renovation involved updating the powder room, laundry, and constructing a brand-new garage. The new garage adds more functional space to the home and provides ample storage for cars and other items.

On the second floor, a new luxurious master suite was added that boasts a media lounge, large walk-in closet, gym, and state-of-the-art bathroom. No detail was spared in the design of this space, which includes high-end finishes and fixtures.

The exterior renovations were just as extensive as the interior renovations. A new pool and 235 sq. ft. pool house were constructed, along with an outdoor dining area, firepit, sun deck and grilling area. The extensive landscaping completes the beautiful exterior renovation, and along with the river, provides a beautiful backdrop for entertaining guests.

The new addition blends seamlessly with the original architecture, and every detail was considered to create a cohesive and stunning home.
